7. Twin-Needle Stitching

twin-needle
simultaneously
pro
duces two parallel, closely spaced lines
of decorative stitchificj. You can stitch
with either one or two colours of thread.
A twin-needle, No. 2024. is supplied with
your sewing machine accessories. Extra
twin-needles
may
be
purchased
sep
arate ly
at your local Sewing Centre.

than what is recommended. A wider stitch
will result in needle breakage.
Procedure
» Insert twin-needle.
» Attach detachable spool pin to machine
top cover in hole A.
« Place second spool of thread on de
tachable spool pin.
» Thread as for single needle stitching,
using ttie two tlireads, making certain to
omit One thread from the thread guide
above ihe needle, as illustrated.

Place one ttiread through each needle
eye.
