b. If tbe LCD display becomes dim, the 1.5-vo!f watch

batteries in the St^per Console (88) should be

reploced. Using a dsort phillips screwdriver,

remove the two screws attaching the bock of the

Stepper Console. Using the screwdriver, carefully

push the two batteries out of the battery clips; be

careful to note vdiich way the batteries are turned.

Insert

iwo

new 1.5-voIt watch botteries into the

bottery clips. Reattach the bock of the Stepper

Console.

SYMPTOM: THE POWER DOES NOT TURN ON

o. Moke sure that the tronsformer is fully plugged info the jack on the CROSS TRAINER e, and into a 120-voIt outlet.

SYMPTOM: THERE IS A CLICKING SOUND WHEN USING THE ARMS

o. Tighten the indicated 3/8' Nylock Nut (6) further

onto the 3/8'

3 1/2* Bolt (42) on eodi Arm

(15,16) until the Swvel Brockets (14) do nc4 slide

bock ond forth on the Bolts. Be careful not to over

tighten the Nylock Nuts; the Swivel Brockets must

be able to swivel easily.
