IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

CROSS TRAINER e. Before beginning any exercise program, consult your physician. This is especially important for
persons over the oge of 35 or persons with pre-existing heolth problems. SEARS ossumes no responsibility for person-

Read this owner's manual and the accompanying FITNESS JOURNAL carefully before using the CROSS TRAINER e.

Inspect and tighten oil parts each time you use the CROSS TRAINER e. Repitfce any worn parts immediotely.

Do not use the transfoimer if it is damaged. Keep the power cord away from walkways and heated surfoces.

Keep your hands away from moving ports. Always wear athletic shoes for foot protection.
5.
Keep smoll children awoy from the CROSS TRAINER e at all times.

To prevent damage to the weight system, do not pot any pressure on the leg developer, arms or cables while the
weight setting is changing. If the lot bar or rower bar is oHoched to the high pulley stotion, rest it in the rxick near the
high pulley staHon. (See OPERATING THE PERSONAL TRAINER COMFVTER on page 11 of this owner's manual).

Alwoys stand on the foot plate when performing ony exercise that could cause the CROSS TRAINER e to tip.

Make sure that the cables remain in the grooves in the pulleys as you use the CROSS TRAINER e. .

The resistance cylinders become very hot during use. Allow the resistonce cylinders to cool before touching
them. Cover the floor beneath the stepper for protection; o small amount of oil leakage is normal for hydraulic ■
cylinders. When using the stepper, keep your feet on the pedals at all times. If you lift your feet off the pedals,
the pedols may become separated from the resistance cylinders, resulHng in injury.
10. If you feel pain or dizziness at any lime while exercising, stop immediotely and begin cooling down. Find out
what is wrong before continuing.
