9. IF USING MULTIPLE CENTRAL UNITS
Up to 3 Central Units and up to 192 conference units can be connected per system.
Note
Match the setting for Automatic Mic-off function among Central units. If differently set, these function will not
work correctly.
Step 1. Perform connections and adjustments for each Central unit.
Follow Steps 1 – 10 on pages p. 44 – p. 47 for each Central unit.
Step 2. Set the Central unit's rear-mounted Expansion switch.
Set the Expansion switch of one of the connected Central units to MAIN, and the remaining Central
units to EXPANSION.
Step 3. Make connections between Central units.
Connect the Expansion IN-OUT terminals mutually between Central units, as shown below. Note that
the CTRL terminal of the Main Central unit must be connected directly to each CTRL terminal of the
Expansion Central unit(s) using a single line.
Note
Because no cables are supplied for connection between Central units, prepare them separately.
