7.1.6. Deleting a file

Delete unnecessary sound source files from the SD card.
Note

A read-only file cannot be deleted. To delete it, you first need to cancel the read-only setting.
Tip

Files can also be deleted using a PC.

Step 1. Select the sound source file to be deleted following the same

procedures as in Steps 1 to 6 of “Playback” (see p. 29).

Step 2. Press the OK button.

The operation selection menu (File Browser) appears.

Note

Do not remove the SD card to protect data.

Step 3. Press the Backward button or Forward button to select "DELETE."

Step 4. Press the OK button.

The Deletion confirmation screen appears.

Step 5. Press the Backward button or Forward button once.

The underline cursor moves from "No" to "Yes" in the Deletion

confirmation screen.

Tip

To cancel deletion, select "No," then press the OK button.

Step 6. Press the OK button.

The selected sound source file is deleted and the screen reverts

to the Play list screen.
