7. RECORDING
In this system, the conference contents can be recorded and played back using the Central unit's internal MP3
recorder in MP3 format. It is also possible to perform recording using an external recording equipment.
7.1. Using the TS-780 Central Unit's Built-in MP3 Recorder
The conference contents can be recorded to and played back from the SD/SDHC card ("SD card" herein) in
MP3 format using the TS-780 Central unit's built-in MP3 recorder.

Note
Be sure to press each button one by one. Simultaneously pressing two or more buttons may cause equipment
malfunction.
1. Display section
Displays such information as operation status,
selected sound source file name, and elapsed time.
2. Playback/Pause button [
]
Calls up the last played sound source file when
pressed, placing the recorder in pause state. When
pressed again, playback resumes.
The recorder is placed in pause state when this
button is pressed during playback. Besides, when
pressed in pause state, playback starts from the
pause position.
Note
The sound source file is not called up immediately
after power-on or SD card insertion even if this
button is pressed. Select the sound source file
from the Main Menu to play back.
3. Menu button [MENU]
Displays the Main Menu when pressed.
4. Backward button [
]
Used to select the MENU.
The display moves to the previously selected item
when this button is pressed.
When pressed during playback, the recorder
moves to the beginning of the previously selected
sound source file.
Holding down this button during playback
decreases the sound volume. Volume level set
here is the maximum volume adjustable with the
Volume control knob (9).
Note
If the volume has been set to "0" with this button,
audio signals are not output even when the volume
is increased with Volume control knob (9).
5. Forward button [
]
Used to select the MENU.
The display moves to the next selection item when
this button is pressed.
The recorder skips to the beginning of the next
sound source file when pressed during playback.
If skips to the beginning of the first sound source
file when pressed during the last track playback.
Holding down this button during playback
increases the sound volume. Volume level set here
is the maximum volume adjustable with the Volume
control knob (9).
6. Stop/OK button [ , OK]
Stops operation when pressed during recording.
Skips to the beginning of the sound source file
being played back when pressed during playback,
stopping the operation.
Confirms the setting contents when pressed during
various settings.
7. Record button [REC]
Places the recorder in recording pause state when
pressed once, and performs audio signal recording
when pressed again.
Recording format is MP3 only. Set the bit rate from
the menu. (See p. 22.)
