Event Notifications
This section will allow you to have the following events take place when motion or noise is detected:
1. An alarm sound through the computer.
2. Send you an email notification.
3. Take snapshots and send to an FTP site.
4. Have the watcher program pop up if it is minimized.
• To access the event notification screen select “Options” → “Event Notification”
To have an alarm sound when motion or noise is detected:
Having an alarm sound when motion or noise is detected is not just a security feature; it is good for
your baby too. You can have a lullaby play or record the sound of your voice on your computer to play if
your baby starts to stir or cry.
1. Check the box next to sound alarm to enable an alarm to be sounded when motion or noise is
detected.
2. Select the alarm or sound that you would like to play by selecting the […] box and finding it
through the browse file, make sure the audio file is .WAV format.
3. To test out that the sound you have selected is the one you would like, select play. The selected
sound should begin to play for you through your computer speakers.
4. To have the alarm/sound repeat select ‘’loop playback’’.
