DynDNS SETUP IP CHANGE
To be informed of IP changes, DynDNS offers an IP update program for your computer.
We recommend using this IP update program.
Program can be found at: http://www.dyndns.com/support/clients/.
1. When you go to the web site select the “download now” icon in the top right
corner of the screen.
2. A download screen will appear, follow the setup instructions.
3. You may get a security warning screen if this happens, select run again, this
program is perfectly safe.
4. When installation is complete, a completion screen will appear. Select Finish, in
order to complete the installation process and open the program.
5. You then enter the user name and password of the DynDNS account you set up
earlier in the port forwarding process. If you have not set up a DynDNS account,
the instructions are under the PORT FORWARDING section of the manual.
6. You will now get an email each time your IP changes notifying you what your IP
address changed to as well as what it was before.
7. When you receive an email, you will have to re-set your port forwarding to work
with your new IP address.
