SNAPSHOT:

The snapshot feature is available on both the playback player and the watcher software. Both of the

players (watcher and playback) allow you to take a picture of what you view on the screen and save

it to your computer, you can also add the date and time that the photo was taken. With the watcher

software you have the option to view the live footage through the snapshot screen.

Taking a snapshot with the software:
1. Make sure the watcher software is open so that you are viewing in live mode.
2. Click the camera icon. In a few seconds a new screen will appear with the snapshot you took.
3. You have just taken a snapshot!

• With the watcher snapshot you can view live footage by selecting live, you do not have this

option with the player’s snapshot


Saving the photo:
1. To save the photo select the “save” icon and a folder list will appear, browse to the folder you

would like to save the photo to, name the photo and select “save.”

Adding font to the photo:
1. If you would like to add the date and time the photo was taken, select “font”.
2. A font screen will appear for you to pick a font and font color that the date and time will be

written on the photo with.

3. Once you have finished, select OK. The photo will then appear with the date and time on it.

Viewing live from snapshot screen:
1. If you want to get a live view of what is being displayed on the camera, make sure you are in the

watcher snapshot screen and select the “live” button.

2. When you select “live,” the button that used to say “live” will then say “snap.”
3. To take a snapshot click on the “snap” button.
