Removing and Replacing a DC PEM
Step 1
Power off the faulty PEM (item 3 in
Figure 5-15
DC Power Entry Module Components
Step 2
Power off the circuit breaker assigned to the power supply.
Step 3
Remove the power supply from the chassis (
):
a.
Loosen the captive screw on each ejector lever.
b.
Pivot the levers open to release the power supply from its bay.
c.
Slide the power supply out of its bay while supporting it with your other hand.
Warning
The power supply weighs approximately 10 lb (4.5 kg). Use two hands to remove
the power supply.
