Removing and Replacing the Blower Module
Caution Although the blower module supports OIR and can be replaced without
interruption to system operation, do not operate the system without the blower
module for more than a few minutes to prevent overheating.
Step 1 Remove the blower module from the chassis ( Figure 5-4 ):
a. Lift the blower module handle to its carrying position.
b. Loosen the four captive screws on the blower module faceplate.
c. Remove the blower module by grasping it on each side and pulling it straight
back from the chassis.
