Timer Recording With the VCR Plus* Programming System (confd)

Press the Number I button to record in SP speed, the
Number 2 button to record in LP speed, or the Number 3
button to record in SLP speed.
Your selection will appear to
the right of REC SPEED on-screen, although SP= I LP=2 SLP=3 will
continue to flash. For details about tape speed, see pages 32 and
SS.You cannot use the SPEED button at this time.

Press the STATUS/EXIT button.

PLETED / PLEASE TURN OFF FOR TIMER RECORDING will
appear on-screen.
• If there is not a tape in theTV/VCR, PLEASE INSERT CASSETTE
also appears on-screen.
• If there is a tape without a record tab in theTV/VCR, PLEASE
REMOVE CASSETTE also appears on-screen. If this happens,
insert a different tape.

Turn off theTV/VCR power.
The REC(ord) light will flash. If you
forget to turn off theTV/VCR, PLEASE TURN OFF FOR TIMER
RECORDING appears on theTV/VCR screen two minutes before
a timer recording starts.

Helpful H ints
TheTV/VCR must be off for
a timer recording to take
place! Make sure there is a
tape in theTV/VCR.
• To exit the VCR Plus+ programming
system at any time, press the STA
TUS/EXIT button. The display will
disappear from the screen.
• To stop a started timer recording,
press the STOP/EJECT button on
theTV/VCR.
