4. Move the cursor to Modem/DCE Type and press Enter. The list of available PPP Modem/DCE Device Types
displays:
5. Select the modem or DCE device attached to the port and press Enter.For an international RocketModem
board, select the appropriate country.
6. Move the cursor up to Interface Speed and press Enter.
The list of interface speeds displays.
7. Set the interface speed to the highest available value and press Enter. Note that this is not the same as
modem speed, and therefore you should select the highest value on the list for the RocketPort or
RocketModem installation.
8. Modify other areas of the PPP Network Interface Configuration as appropriate.
9. Press Esc to exit the PPP Network Interface Configuration screen. You are asked to save your changes.
Select Yes and press Enter.
You are returned to the Network Interfaces window. The Media type should be PPP and the port status
should be Enabled.
10. Repeat this process as needed for other ports. When done, press Esc to exit to the Internetworking
Configuration menu.
