33. Select Display Port Status. The Port Status window displays:
If the status of all configured ports is “Waiting,” you have correctly completed setup and configuration. At
this point, the system is ready for users to dial in and access the server.
34. Press ESC to return to the NIAS Options menu.
35. Select Exit to close NIASCFG.
At this point, the RocketPort or RocketModem is fully operational.
NetWare Connect Port Status Messages
Message Description
Acquired The port is acquired by an NWC service.
Acquired Other The port is acquired by another application.
Answering The port is answering an incoming call.
Broken The modem did not initialize (hardware error).
Connecting A remote caller is trying to make a connection.
Connected The connection is established successfully.
Dialing NetWare Connect is dialing out.
Disconnecting The connection is being reset.
Disconnected The connection is completely disconnected.
Idle Available but not in use. (RNS not loaded.)
Initializing The modem is being initialized.
Startup NWC is loading; NWCSTART not run yet.
Unavailable No modems attached or driver not loaded.
Waiting The port is waiting for an incoming call.
