BASIC IMAGE RECORDING
3. Press the shutter release
button half way to focus the
image.
• When you press the shutter
release button half way, the
camera’s Auto Focus feature
automatically focuses the image,
and displays the shutter speed
and aperture values.
• You can tell whether the
image is focused by
observing the focus frame
and the green operation
lamp.

The image is in focus.
The image is not in focus.

4. After making sure that the
image is focused properly,
press the shutter release
button the rest of the way
down to record.
• The number of images that can
be stored in memory depends on
the resolution setting you are
using (pages 63, 180).
