Direct Function (MULTI
CONTROL)
The direct function is a useful feature
which allows you keep the receiver in
one function (for example, controlling
your CD player) while putting the
remote control in a different function.
This could let you, for example, use
the remote control to set up and listen
to a CD on the receiver and then use
the remote control to rewind a tape in
your VCR while you continue to
listen to your CD player.
When the DIRECT function is ON
any MULTI CONTROL button you
press will change the function of both
the receiver and the remote control.
When you turn a DIRECT function
OEE, you can operate the remote
control without affecting the receiver.
Thus you could switch the remote
control to the VCR and operate that
component while the receiver plays a
different component.
1 To turn the DIRECT function
OFF (the default setting is ON),
press REMOTE SETUP and
number button 3 at the same
time.
2 To turn the DIRECT function
ON (if you have turned it off),
press REMOTE SETUP and
number button 2 at the same
time.
TV CONT doesn’t have this feature
and thus can’t use the DIRECT
FUNCTION.

La función directa es una característica
útil que le permite mantener el
sintoamplificador en una función (por
ejemplo, controlar su reproductor de
discos compactos) mientras pone al
mando a distancia en una función
distinta. Esto permite, por ejemplo,
utilizar el mando a distancia para
preparar y escuchar un disco compacto
en el sintoamplificador y después
utilizar el mando a distancia para
rebobinar una cinta en su
videograbadora mientras continúa
escuchando su tocadiscos de discos
compactos.
Cuando la función directa está
activada, cualquier botón
MULTI
CONTROL presionado cambiará la
función tanto del sintoamplificador
como del mando a distancia. Cuando
se desactiva la función directa, puede
hacer funcionar el mando a distancia
sin afectar el funcionamiento del
sintoamplificador. De esta forma puede
cambiar el mando a distancia de la
videograbadora y hacer funcionar el
equipo mientras el sintoamplificador
reproduce otro equipo diferente.
1 Para desactivar la función
directa (el ajuste por omisión es
de activación), presione
RE­
MOTE SETUP y el botón
numérico 3 al mismo tiempo.
2 Para activar la función directa
(si la ha desactivado), presione
REMOTE SETUP y el botón
numérico 2 al mismo tiempo.
El TV CONT no tiene esta función y no
puede utilizar la función directa.
