G. Remote Operation of the Message Center
The messages recorded on your
FAX-210
Message Center can be retrieved from any touch-
tone telephone, provided, you know the 2-digit security code. To do so, press "9" when you
hear the OGM (your Outgoing Message) or Call Message.

. Dial the telephone number of your
FAX-210
unit.
2. When you hear the
OGM
, press "9" repeatedly until you hear a short beep (1 second).
3. Dial in the 2-digit Security Code within 15 seconds of hearing the beep. If the code is
correct, you will hear a short beep (1 second). If the code is incorrect, you will hear a
series of short beeps. Try again!
Now, you are ready to request the
FAX-21
0's Message Center to perform some functions.
These functions and the remote commands needed to activate them are shown in the table
below.

if there are no messages on your Message Center and you try to play back or erase
ICMs, you will hear a series of short beeps.

A short beep is heard repeatedly for 30 seconds when each function has been
completed. To continue with another function, press "9" within 30 seconds after a
1 sec. beep.
The FAX MESSAGE COUNT is a feature unique to Brother. Its main purpose is to save you a
trip to check on the arrival of that important fax message you've been waiting for. When the
FAX message count command is entered, as many number of short beeps as fax messages
received will be heard. If the count is zero, there is no need to rush back.
