SETTING THE FAX PASSWORD
• The Fax Password permits transmission to you oniy by units with the same matching
passcode.
•
Use the Fax Password feature if you are part of a closed network or if fax "junk mail"
is a problem.
The factory setting for this FOUR-DIGIT CODE is 0000.

Start in the REGISTRATION & SETTING MODE (press

Press "6". The LCD will display:

Use the numeric ten key pad to enter numbers other than "0000", e.g.,
MSG CTR

PASSWORD: 1234
When you finish entering the fourth digit of the passcode, the cursor will go
back to the first digit.
4.
If you are pleased with your selected number, press SET and the unit will return
to the REGISTRATION & SETTING MODE.
5.
If you wish to change the password, re-enter appropriate numbers at Step 3,
using the ten key pad. When satisfied, press SET.
6.
Press SET twice. The unit will revert to standby mode.
III.
AUTO REDIAL FUNCTION
The Auto Redial function allows you to keep on redialing a busy fax number up to 3 times by a 5-
minute interval.
1.
Enter the REGISTRATION & SETTING MODE.
2.
Press "7". The LCD will display:
