Clearing a Document Jam

If a document becomes jammed in the machine, the display will show
“DOCUMENT JAM” and information code 031.

To clear the jam, follow the procedure below.

1 Push the Latch button on the back side of the Unit and open the ADF

Cover.

2. Remove the jammed paper.

3. Close the ADF Cover.
