Making and Answering Calls
Voice calls - answering
While a call is being received, the unit rings and the calied line indicator flashes red.

When the unit rings, lift the handset.
•The calling line is selected automatically and the
line indicator lights green.
When finished talking, replace the handset.
Note:
•When the ringer volume of the called line is set to off,
the unit will not ring.
To mute your voice to the other
party
1. Press [HANDSET MUTE] during a telephone
conversation using the handset.
Display:
•The other party cannot hear you, but you can
hear them.
2. To resume the conversation, press
[HANDSET MUTE] again.
To transfer a call to an extension
phone
1. Press [HOLD] during a conversation and then
replace the handset.
•The line indicator changes from steady to
flashing green light.
2. Lift the handset of the extension phone to
continue the conversation.
•The line indicator changes from flashing to a
steady red light.
