Clearing a document jam
If an original document becomes jammed in the document feeder unit, the ALARM indicator lights
and a long beep is heard. Remove the document that causes a problem by following steps below.

Slide the
FRONT LID OPEN
lever forward to
open the document feeder unit.
Remove the document that causes a problem
carefully.

by pushing down on both ends gently.
