CAUSE & REMEDY
•The cover of the recording paper unit is open.
Close it.

CHECK DOCUMENT
►The document has not been fed into the unit
properly. If the paper rollers inside the document
feeder unit are dirty, clean them and then reinsert
the document (see page 7-10).

CHECK CASSETTE TAPE
•The tape is broken or not installed. Install a new
one (see page 1-11).
•Tape is full. Reset it or use the other side.

CHECK MEMORY
• Memory (phone numbers, parameters, etc.) has
been erased. Reprogram them.

RECORD GREETING
►The greeting message is not recorded. Record
your greeting message.

•The unit ran out of recording paper. Replace it.

•The recording paper is jammed. Reinstall it.
• Make sure that there is no slack in the recording

•The unit is too hot. Leave it as it is and allow it to
cool down.

REMOVE DOCUMENT
•A document is jammed. Open the cover of the
document feeder unit and remove the document
that causes a problem.
•Attempted to transmit a document longer than
600 mm (23^"). Press the STOP (©) button and
remove it.

•Transmission error. Try again.
•This display appears when your network
passcode does not correspond to the other party.
Check the network passcode.
