•Shock-proof function does not work when the
optical digital audio cable is connected to the
audio input/output (optical digital audio output)
connector of the player’s left-side pane!.

disconnect the AC adaptor, and
then re-connect it.

'If the service number fails to clear even when the remedial action is taken, ask a service
technician to repair the player.
The following symptoms may be found during play or during charging
of the battery pack: these are normal.
•The player or AC adaptor heats up during use.
•When the battery pack is detached and then re-attached during charging, the
CHARGE (CHG) indicator goes off for an instant.
•Transmission noises are heard inside the AC adaptor during charging.
♦The battery pack heats up after charging or during use.
