mode to “OFF” to conserve power or to
prevent battery consumption when an
external TV set is connected.
For your reference:
»Turning the LCD display screen to OFF
while playing music CDs reduces power
consumption. This measure also con
serves battery power when operating off
the battery pack. (Under these condi
tions, the battery pack provides 4.5 hours
of continuous playback when playing
music CDs.)
