When DVDs recorded in Dolby Digital or dts are played, Doiby Digital bitstream or dts bit-
stream is output from the player’s audio input/output (optical digital audio output) connec
tor. When the player Is connected to a Doiby Digital decoder or dts decoder using the
optical digital audio cable, you can enjoy theater-quality audio in your home.

►An MPEG audio decoder can also be connected to the player using the connection
below. When DVDs recorded in MPEG audio are played, MPEG audio bitstream is out
put from the player’s audio input/output (optical digital audio output) connector and you
can enjoy theater-quality audio in your home.
