Data Acquisition Cable (E)
The data acquisition cable is 20 feet long. This
cable connects the Breakout board on the dyno to
the DynoWare EX+.
Serial Port Cable (F)
The serial port cable connects your computer to
the DynoWare EX+. This cable is 12 feet long.
DynoWare EX+ placement can be important if
you run both front and rear wheel drive vehicles.
The vehicle operator must be able to see the
computer monitor during a run.
Primary Wire RPM Pickup (G)
The primary wire RPM (inductive) pickup is used
to measure the vehicle’s engine RPM. The
primary wire inductive pickup has a 20-foot
cable. One end of the cable plugs into the
DynoWare EX+ and the other is placed on a wire
connected to the primary side of the coil.
(Optional) Secondary Wire RPM Pickup
(H1 & 2)
The secondary wire RPM (inductive) pickups are
used to measure the vehicle’s engine RPM. The
secondary wire inductive pickups have a 20-foot
cable. One end of the cable(s) plug into the
DynoWare EX+, the other attaches to a spark
plug wire on the vehicle. Vehicles with direct,
wasted spark ignition may require two secondary
inductive pickups.
