Tape return allows you to quickly return to a desired scene on the
video cassette.
• Camera does not have a TAPE RETURN button. Use the
wireless controller to operate tape return.
1. When you locate a scene during playback that
you want to watch again later, press COUNTER
RESET button.
• Tape counter resets to 0:00:00.
2. Press ■ (STOP) button when playback finishes.
3. Press TAPE RETURN button.
• Tape rewinds and stops automatically when counter reading
reaches near 0:00:00.
4. Press ► (PLAY) button.
• Playback starts at the spot where you pressed COUNTER
RESET button.
Notes:
• Every time you load a video cassette, the tape counter automatically resets to 0:00:00. This means that
after recording you can use the tape return function to locate the recording start point.
• Tape counter reading is only approximate. Use it as a guide.
• Tape return does not function when initial tape counter reading is near 0:00:00.
• Press STOP button to cancel tape return.
