This is for fast-moving subjects when you want to
freeze the action
• The camera will first track the subject with the centre
AF point. Focus tracking wtll then continue with any
of the seven AF points covering the subject. When
focus IS achieved. Ihe beeper will sound softly.
• While you hold down the shutter button, focusing will
continue for continuous shooting,
» Using a telephoto lens and ISO 400 or higher speed
film is recommended.
Ni^ Portrait
This mode is for taking pictures of people at twilight or
at night. The flash illuminates the subject while a slow
sync speed obtains a natural-looking exposure of the
background.
• If you want to photograph only a night scene
(without people), use the
mode instead
• Tell the subject to keep still even after the flash fires
О Use a tripod to prevent camera shate.

You can disable the flash when you do not want it to

• The built-in flash or any external Speedlite will not
