The Canon Auto Zoom 1014 Electronic has a single lens reflex type
viewfinder without parallax. Even close-ups are shot exactly as they appear
in the viewfinder.
The Close-Up Lens C-8, special for 8mm movies, completely corrects
chromatic aberration. It needs only to be screwed into the tip of the lens
to exercise its power in title shooting, copying documents and in shooting
plants, flowers and insects.
As the close-up may be shot from a remote position, it is particularly
useful for shooting small animals in motion.
The distance is easily adjusted and, when shooting titles, you can choose
any focal distance for good lighting.
* The 5Smm in the name represents the diameter. The numbers 450 and
240 mean that when the distance scale of the lens is focused at infinity, the
lens will focus the subjects at 450mm and 240mm respectively.
