Verify
that
the
variable
shutter
control
ring
is
set
at
"O"
(OPEN).
If it is not at "O", proper exposure cannot be obtained.
• When the variable shutter control lock button is rroved in the direction
of the arrow, the variable shutter control ring unlocks and may be turned
freely.
•
The
ring
is
locked
by
setting
the
index
at
the
’'O”
position
and
pushing the button in the opposite direaion of the arrow. The variable
shutter control lock indicator window turns orange to confirm it has been
locked. When the lock is released, it turns blue.
• Only three positions. O (OPEN). 2 and 4 may be locked. The others
cannot.

at

“ Adjustment Scale.
If the knob is not at "•" during ordinary electric eye operation, correct
exposure can not be obtained.
C Make sure that the Rewind Setting Indicator Turns Orange.
When
the
rewind
setting
indicator
turns
blue,
press
the
rewind
mechanism cancellation button. This will have the same effect as when it is
orange.
When
the
trigger
is
pulled
and
shooting
continues,
the
rewind
setting indicator automatically turns blue.

7 Check the Film Transport Indicator.
* Looking at the film transport indicator on the side of the body, pull
the trigger and run the film slightly. If the red and white lines move
smoothly, the film is driven properly.
You can also check by means of the film transport indicator lamp in the
viewfinder.
If
the
lamp
blinks,
the
film
is
driven
properly.
Otherwise,
remove the cartridge and load it again.
