If the
lamp
does
not blink in
this case, you
Know
that there was some
trouble
during fading
out or
rewinding.
If
the
lamp
stops
blinking
in
ordinary
shooting,
push
the
rewind
mechanism cancellation button and then siaa shooting again.
In lap dissolve or in superimposition,
if
the lamp does not blink after
rewinding
the
film,
remove
the
cartridge
and
advance
the
film
about
10cm (4') by turning the axis of the canridge manually.
If, nevertheless, the film does not advance, change the cartridge.
•
After
removing the cartridge, keep pulling the trigger until the rewind
switch button switches to show the orange mark.
Then you can reset lap dissolve immediately.

Superimposition (

When fade-in and fade-out are excluded from lap dissolve, it is called
superimposition. Usually, this serves for shooting titles.
•
First unlock the variable shutter control lock by sliding the fading setting
button to the right and set it to the blue mark. Next move the film rewind
switch button to the left to point to the blue mark.
If the variable shutter control lock is not released, the film rewind switch
button will not move to the left, but this is not a breakdown.
•
Set the variable shutter control ring to
"2"
and lock the ring by sliding
the fading setting button to the left.
•
Continue to pull the trigger until the film stops automatically. When the
film stops running, unlock the variable shutter control ring. Turn the ring
and
match
the
index
to
the
"REWIND"
position
and
rewind
the
film
completely.
• Return the variable shutter control ring to the scale "2". and lock it
