Marks for Various Shooting Techniques
With the Canon Auto Zoom 1014 Electronic, fading, lap dissolve ano
superimposition
can
be
done
by
combining
the
mechanisms
of
variable
shutter control and rewinding.
A plate on the side of the body indicates how they should be combined.
• The left column indicates the fading setting indicator, the right column is
for
film
rewind
indicator.
They
should
be
combined
as
appears
in the
following chart.

O Fading Setting Indicator
^ When the fading setting button is moved to the right, the variable shuner
control
ring
may
be
turned
by
hand.
At
this
time,
the
fading
setting
indicator turns blue to show that the ring is free. When it is locKed, tne
indicator turns orange.
•
For
ordinary
shootirig,
the
variable
shutter
control
ring
should
be
at
"O"
and
locked.
This
prevents
the
ring
from
turning
accidentally
while
shooting.
