turn the switch dial of the camera to "R" or "OFF" beforehand, otherwise
the
camera
starts
operating
when
you
remove
the
remote
control
switch
and you will waste film.
•
When the remote control switch is out of use, be sure to set the switch
dial at "OFF" to prevent the batteries from being wasted. So be sure to
make preparations just before the actual operation.
•
Check
the
conditions
of
the
subject
carefully
before you
operate
the
camera from a distance.
•
If the eye is not against the eyepiece, be sure to close the eyepiece
shutter.
0 Single-Frame Shooting
The Canon Auto Zoom 1014 Electronic has a magnetic shutter release
mechanism,
and
can
perform
perfect
EE
shooting
including
single-frame
shooting with the combined use of remote control switch.
• Single-frame shooting can be performed as follows:
Set the filming speed dial at "1", connect the Remote Control Switch 60
or 3 to the remote control socket of the camera, turn the switch dial to
"RL". and press down the button of the remote control switch
•
If
the
switch
dial
is
not
set
at
"RL",
correct
exposure
cannot
be
obtained.

Self-Timer E
By inserting the Self-Timer E in the remote control socket,
u n m a n n e a
photography
can
be
performed,
while
maintaining
the
camera
in
r u n n i n g
(RL) condition. You can join the scene you shoot. Shooting begins
t e n
seconds after you press the start button in the center of the timer,
a n d it
lasts ten seconds.

Interval Timer E
This electronic timer is used to shoot single frames at fixed intervals
inserted in the remote control socket after switching the dial to '’RL '. The
interval time is controlled from one second up to 60 seconds by the dial
in the center of the timer.
The Interval Timer E will synchronize the electronic flash.
