Deactivating the Buttons
on the Unit
(Chifd Lock)
You can dciictivate the buttons on the unit
(except for
l/(i)) for preventing misoperatioii,
such as child mischief (child lock funcUon).
When the child lock function is activated, the
buttons on the unit are locked and “0-тч lights
up in the front panel display. (You can operate
the system by using the remote.)
• When yon operate the buttons on the unit while the
child lock function is on. "CHILD LOCK” appears in
the front panel display.

Press SYSTEM MENU.

Press T'/+ repeatedly until “CHILD
LOCK” appears in the front panel
display, then press 0 or ■>.
3 Press to select a setting.
The default setting is underlined.
• “OFF”: Child lock riiiiction off.
• “ON”: Child lock fiinclion on.
Press 0.
The setting is jnade.
Press SYSTEM MENU.
The systetn menu turns off.

• You can activate the child lock function by pressing
H for more than 5 seconds ghts up in the
front panel display ).
To cancel, press H for more than 5 seconds so that
"Q—g, ” disappears from the front panel display.
To remove a disc while the chiid
iock function is on
Press A on the remote and press DISC SKIP
repeatedly until the desired DISC indicator (l-.S)
lights up.
To insert a disc whiie the chiid
iock function is on
Press ^ on tile remole to open the disc tray and
press DISC SKIP repeatedly until the desired
DISC indicator (l-.'i) lights up, then place a disc
on the tray and press ^ on the remote.
