• If you change ihe HDMI connecliorL conned and
disconnecT the AC power cord (mains lead), or
have a power failure, set the |HDMI CONTROL]
setting in [CUSTOM SETUP] to [OFF], then set
the IHDMI CONTROL] setting in [CUSTOM
SETUP] to [ON] (page 90).

No sound Is output trom the system and TV
while using the System Audio Control

display)
When ihe selCdiagiiosis function is activated tt>
prevent the system from nialfunclioiiing, a .5.
character service number (e.g., C 13 .“iO) with a
combination of a letter and 4 digits appears on
the TV screen or front panel display. In tliis case,
check Ihe following table.

When displaying the version
number on the TV screen
When you turn on the system, the version
number [VER.X.XXJ (X is a number) may
appear on the TV screen. Although this is not a
malfunction and for Sony service use only,
normal syslem operation will not he possible.
Turn off the system, and then turn on the system
again to operate.
