• When you connect the system and TV with the HDMI
cord, you can operate them simply, using the HDMI
CONTROL function. For details, see the HDMI
C’ONTROL Guide (supplied sepanitely).
• The DISC 1 -5 indicators chtinge color as follows:
- green; the disc is selected, or the disc is being
played back­
- off; there is no disc.
- orange: a disc is loaded in the disc stockerbiit not
selected.
- The indicator turns off if an unplayable disc is
inserted-
To save the power in standby
mode
Press l/Ci) wliilc the system turns on. To cancel
standby mode, press l/g once.
To turn on/off the DISC 1-5
indicators’ iiiumination
When you do not operale the system for more
l.ha:n 30 minutes, the illumination of the DISC I -
5 indicalors starts automatically. You can turn
the illumination on or off.

Press SYSTEM MENU.
2 Press I“/* repeatedly until “ILLUM MODE”
appears in the front panel display, then
press 0 or ■>.
3 Press i'/4' to select a setting.
The default setting is underlined.
* 'TLLUM ON'b sets the illumination mode
to on.
* ‘TLLUM OFF“; sets the illumination mode
to off.
4 Press 0.
The setting is made.
5 Press SYSTEM MENU.
The system menu turns olT,

About DVD 5-DISC changer
The disc changer consists ofa playing unit and a
Stocker which transports the discs to the disc slot
and the playing unit.
For example, if you press DISC 3, the slockcr
moves until the DISC 3 comes to the position of
tlic playing unit and then moves the DISC 3 over
the pia ying unit.
* Noise may come from rhe disc changer when
changing discs or luriiirig the system on and off.
However, this is just noise produced by the operation
of the internal mechanisms and does nol indicate a
malfunction.
