Selecting the connected
component
You can use a VCR or other components
connected to the SAT/CABLE or TV jacks on
the rear panel. Refer to the operatitig ¡nstructioiis
supplied with the components for further
information.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until “SAT/
CABLE” or “TV” appears in the front panel
display.
Each time ythe system changes in the following sequence.
DVD —► TUNER FM —► TUNER AM —► XM
—► SAT/CABLE—► TV —► DMPORTl —►
DMPORT2 —► AUDIO —► ...
•When yon use hotli the SAT/CABLE (AUDIO IN)
jacks (analog connection) and S,AT/(i'ABLE
(COAXIAL or OPTICAL DIGITAL IN) jack (digital
connection) at the same time, the digital connection
takes priority.
Changing the input levei of
the sound from connected
components
Distortion may occur when lislening to a
component connected to the SAT/CABLE
or
TV jacks on the rear panel or to the AUDIO IN
Jack on the frotit panel. This is not a malfunction
and will depend on the component connected.
To prevent this, you can change the input level
from the sound of the other components.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
“SAT/CABLE,” “TV,” or “AUDIO”
appears in the front panel display.
Press SYSTEM MENU.
Press 1'/4' repeatedly until
“ATTENUATE” appears in the front
panel display, then press
0
or ■».
Press l'/4- to select a setting.
The default setting is underlined,
• “ATT ON”: attenuates the input level.
The output level is changed.
• “ATT OFF”: normal input level.
Press 0.
The setting is made.
Press SYSTEM MENU.
The system memi timis off.
