1 mouse connector Plug your computer’s PS/2 mouse into the green mouse connector. Turn off the
computer and any attached devices before you connect a mouse to the computer.
2 serial connector Connect a serial device, such as a handheld device, to the serial port.
3 card slots Use these slots for PCI cards, such as a modem or a network adapter.
4 USB 2.0 connectors (4) Connect USB devices such as a mouse, keyboard, printer, joystick, and computer
speakers into any of the USB connectors.
5 microphone connector Use the pink microphone connector to attach a personal computer microphone
for voice or musical input to a sound or telephony program.
6 line-in connector Use the blue line-in connector to attach a record/playback device such as a cassette
player, CD player, or VCR.
7 line-out connector Use the green line-out connector to attach headphones and most speakers with
integrated amplifiers.
8 video connector Plug the cable from your monitor into the blue connector.
9 parallel connector Connect a parallel device, such as a printer, to the parallel connector. If you have a
USB printer, plug it into a USB connector.
10 keyboard connector Plug your computer’s PS/2 keyboard into the purple keyboard connector. Turn off
the computer and any attached devices before you connect a keyboard to the
computer.
11 voltage selection switch See safety instructions on page 9 for more information.
12 power connector Connect the power cable.
