Installing an Internal Speaker

The internal speaker is an optional device.

 

 

 

1.

Perform the procedure

Before Working on Your Computer

.

 

 

2.

To mount the internal speaker, press the locking tab, position the speaker housing retention tabs under the grill retention tabs provided inside of the
front panel, and release the locking tab.

 

3.

Connect the speaker cable to the system board (see

System Board Components

).


 

4.

Perform the procedure

After Working on Your Computer

.


 

5.

Boot the computer and check for acceptable speaker performance.

 

Removing an Internal Speaker
