Using Accessories
GSC 10 Bike Sensor
Your Forerunner is compatible with
the GSC 10 speed and cadence bike
sensor. You must pair the GSC 10
with your Forerunner. You must be in
bike sport mode.
Setting Up the Bike Sensor
Calibrating your bike sensor is
optional and can improve accuracy.
1. Press
mode
> select
Settings
>
Bike Settings
> bike name >
ANT+Spd/Cad
.
2. Select
YES
in the Bike Sensors
Present? field.
3. If necessary, press
More
for
sensor type.
Bike Details
To enter information specific to
your bike in order to calibrate your
sensors more accurately, complete
the following steps:
1. Press and hold
mode
to select
the bike sport mode.
2. Press
mode
> select
Settings
>
Bike Settings
> bike name >
Bike
Details
.
3. Modify the information in the
Name, Weight, and Odometer
fields.
4. You can select
Custom
in the
Wheel Size field to manually enter
your wheel size.
note: The default setting is
automatic
. Your wheel size is
automatically calculated using
GPS distance.
Data Recording
The Forerunner uses smart recording.
It records key points where you
change direction, speed, or heart rate.
When a third-party power meter

) is paired, the Forerunner
records points every second.
