Lift Cylinder Locks (SN-)
Applies to planters with serial numbers:
(YP425A s/n B1008N-)
(YP625A s/n B1043Q-) (YP825A s/n B1014S-)
Use transport locks to hold the planter at raised for
transport, adjustments, maintenance and storage.
Refer to Figure 18
Transport locks are present on all wheel modules.
To install cylinder stops:
1. Raise planter to transport position (page 22).
2. Remove cylinder lock cotter pins and lock pins .
3. Pivot cylinder stops into upright position on lift
cylinder rods.
4. Re-install locking pins and secure with cotter pins.
5. Lower planter onto stop.
Raise planter, and hold at raised, before releasing
transport locks.
