Prepare Hitch Shims
Refer to Figure 31
(an exploded view - remove only specified parts)
A spare hitch shim is shipped separately, and needs to
be delivered to the customer. If needed, it can be
installed as follows:
24. Loosen the eight nuts
, washers
on the left side of the lower hitch.
25. At the four set screws
, loosen the four jam nuts.
Drive the set screws in until the shim
is free.
26. From the top insert the extra shim:

27. Back out the four set screws. Tighten the eight nuts,
washers and bolts. Turn the set screws in until they
make contact. Secure them with the four jam nuts.

Prepare Parallel Arms
The seed frame is attached to the main frame’s parallel
arms, after releasing the arms from their shipping config-
uration.
Refer to Figure 32
28. Remove and save the 32 sets of:
803-021C NUT HEX 5/8-11 PLT
804-022C WASHER LOCK SPRING 5/8 PLT
802-057C HHCS 5/8-11X2 1/4 GR5
29. Remove and save the extra pin and cotter pin
stored near the spare shear bolts.

The parallel arms are shipped mounted to the rear of the
main frame and each is held in the vertical down position
by a 1

30. Remove both arm locking pins
not re-used.
31. Remove and save the cotter pins, washers and
cross-pins
in the free ends of the lift-assist cylin-
der clevises.
