Connect the CAT5 cable from the display output on the PAN6400 VDC for that
source to the VIM port of a VP700.

Connect the VP700 attached to the PAN6400 VDC to the display using a
component cable.
You can route the video from the VP700 to an A/V Receiver and then the display.

Connect the IR Receiver to the IR IN port for that source on the VP700 and place
the IR Receiver where it can receive a signal from the remote. See
on page 2-5 for information on effective IR
Receiver placement.
7.
Connect an IR Emitter to the IR Out port of the VP700 and place the emitter end
over the IR window on the display.
8.
Turn power on to all devices.
S-Video with Coaxial Digital (S/PDIF) Audio
The following procedures show you how to connect and distribute an S-Video and
coaxial digital (S/PDIF) audio source to Panorama. This can be easily accomplished
using one PAN6400 VDC. If you choose to distribute the audio and video to more than
six zones, more than one PAN6400 VDCs is necessary to provide the additional
DISPLAY OUTPUT ports, as discussed in
