Connection status
When files are transferred from the computer to the
BeoMaster 5, you can get more information about the copy
process by moving the mouse over the Bang & Olufsen icon in
the taskbar.
If there is contact, the Bang & Olufsen icon is black.
If there is no contact between the computer and
BeoMaster 5, the icon is grey. To restore contact, right-
click the icon and select ‘Connect to BeoMaster 5’*.
While a transfer is in progress, the Bang & Olufsen icon is
red.
Copy progress between you computer and BeoMaster 5
‘BeoPlayer <-> BeoMaster 5’ (or ‘BeoPort <-> BeoMaster 5’)
Indicates that the content on the computer and BeoMaster 5
are being synchronised.
‘N.MUSIC <-> BeoMaster 5’
Indicates the copy progress of N.MUSIC tracks between the
computer and BeoMaster 5.
‘PHOTO <-> BeoMaster 5’
Indicates the copy progress of PHOTO between the computer
and BeoMaster 5.
To cancel these activities, right-click the Bang & Olufsen icon
and select the cancellation option under ‘Activity’.
*If you have a BeoSound 5 in your setup, the menu options
correspond accordingly, e.g ‘Connect to BeoSound 5’.
