Adapter Parameters
Appendix B provides information about the adapter parameters.
About Parameter Numbers
The parameters in the adapter are numbered consecutively.

The adapter parameters begin with parameter 01. For example,
Parameter 01 - [DPI Port] is parameter 01 as indicated by this manual.

[DPI Port]
Displays the port to which the adapter is connected.
This usually is port 5.

[DPI Data Rate]
Displays the data rate used by the drive. This data rate
is set in the drive and the adapter detects it.
Values:
0 = 125 kbps
1 = 500 kbps

[Ref/Fdbk Size]
Displays the size of the Reference/Feedback. The
drive determines the size of the Reference/Feedback.
Values:
0 = 16-bit
1 = 32-bit

[Datalink Size]
Displays the size of each Datalink word. The drive
determines the size of Datalinks.
Values:
0 = 16-bit
1 = 32-bit

[Reset Module]
No action if set to ‘0’ (Ready). Resets the adapter if set
to ‘1’ (Reset Module). Restores the adapter to its
factory default settings if set to ‘2’ (Set Defaults). This
parameter is a command. It resets to ‘0’ (Ready) after
the command has been performed.

0 = Ready

1 = Reset Module
2 = Set Defaults

ATTENTION: Risk of injury or equipment damage exists. If the adapter is
transmitting I/O that controls the drive, the drive can fault when you reset the
adapter. Determine how your drive will respond before resetting a connected
adapter.
