7.4.3 Pre-Season/Annual Service
Perform the following the beginning of each
operating season:
CAUTION
 Review the Operator's Manual to refresh
your memory on safety and operating
recommendations.
 Review all safety signs and other decals
on the mower conditioner, and note hazard
areas.
 Be sure all shields and guards are properly
installed and secured. Never alter or
remove safety equipment.
 Be sure you understand and have
practiced safe use of all controls. Know
the capacity and the operating
characteristics of the machine.
 Check the first aid kit and fire extinguisher.
Know where they are and how to use them.
a. Lubricate machine completely. Refer to Section
7.4.5 Lubrication.
b. Check tire pressure and adjust as required. See
Section 7.9.3 Tire Inflation.
c. Perform all annual maintenance. See Section
7.4.1 Maintenance Schedule/Record.
