These error detector limits will be used throughout setup, tuning, and testing.
a) Click the Detectors button in the Station Manager main window.
b) Select All Detectors > Error Detectors tab.
c) Set the Ch 1 Displacement Outer Error and Inner Error to 7 mm (20% of half range).
d) Set the Ch 1 Force Abs. Outer Error and Inner Error to 1 kN (20% of half range).
Set Initial Tuning Parameters
Initial tuning is required to ensure that the system does not go unstable and result in unwanted movements.
For this example hard specimen HCF test, use the following steps:
1. Select the Tuning user access level.
In order to set tuning parameters, select the Tuning rather than Operator user access level.
a) Do this by changing the drop-down selection box to Tuning in the Station Manager application
main window.
b) Enter the password Tuning (case sensitive) when prompted.
2. Set Displacement tuning parameters.
