Communication In addition, the following are required for communication between the PC and
device:
- PC interface cable including adapter (only when using the Setup interface)
or
- Serial interface cable (when using the RS232C or RS422/485 interface) or
- USB cable (when using the USB port)
- Network connection (when using the Ethernet connection).
2.3 Content of CD
Software - PC Evaluation software (PCA3000)
- PCA Communication software (PCC)
- Setup program (only for specific devices)
- Technical documentation
Only available for devices with an enhanced security level:
- PC Security Manager software (PCS)
- PC Audit Trail Manager software (PCAT)
License
number Various license numbers are printed on the reverse side of the CD cover,
depending on what you ordered.
These numbers must be entered during the installation, or in the specific
program at a later time.
All the functions that were ordered can be enabled in this way.

If no license number or an invalid number was entered during
installation, then some functions of the corresponding software
(such as data transmission, saving of data, printout) will be
disabled.
