9.5 Transmitter
Display
The transmitter display functions in two distinct modes: an operational
mode and a menu mode. These two modes will be explained in the
following sections.
9.5.1 Operational
Mode
The transmitter screen displays the status of the SONARtrac
TM
system. A few typical screen messages and their interpretation follow.
9.5.1.1 System
Start
The transmitter displays the startup progress as it loads firmware into
various parts of the system and the Ethernet IP address of the
transmitter as it starts up. Once startup is complete, the display will
clear and begin displaying measurements. Full system startup is
discussed in Section 10.

GVF Startup Screen
If internal configuration parameters are changed in the menu screens,
once the menu is exited, the display will clear and show the ‘Startup
>>>>’ display. This indicates that the system is restarting with the
new parameters and is beginning to make measurements. Flow
measurements will be displayed when the startup procedure is
complete.
