(29) Installation of the intercooler

Install the intercooler using the intercooler stay A (C.18) and B (C.19), (C.c) flange
bolt M6X20 (2P), (C.r) washer M6 (2P) and the (C.d) flange bolt M8X12 (3P)

※

The φ9 hole from the stay A and B goes towards the intercooler.

※

The stay B is tighten together at the outside air temperature sensor stay.

※

Install the intercooler horizontally without getting in contact with the chassis or
other components.

Make alterations to the pipe on figure 1 so it does not interfere with the piping.
※

Be careful not to damage the pipe while making alterations.

Install the intercooler using the (C.26) intake pipe No.1, (C.27) intake pipe No. 2,
(C.28) intake pipe No. 3, (C.29) intake pipe No.4, (C.30) intake pipe No. 6, (C. 31) φ
60 elbow pipe, (C.33) silicone hose φ60 (4P), (C.35) variant silicone hose φ60-φ
70 (4P), (C.36) hose band L (4P) and (C.37) hose band S (12P).

Use the hose band L on φ70 and hose band S on φ60.

Install the stay from the (C.27) intake pipe No.2 using the (C.b) flange bolt M6X16
(1P) and (C.o) flange nut M& (1P) at the location shown in figure 4.

Install the stay from the (C.28) intake pipe No. 3 using the genuine re-enforcement
nut (1P) at the location shown in figure 5.

On each intake pipe there is a sticker describing the No. and the direction to
install.

Make sure the pipes are not in contact with the chassis (body).
